Covelong Beach
Covelong's clean sandy beach offers water sport facilities and is a popular picnic spot. You can also see an Ancient Fort, a Catholic Church and a Mosque which are other tourist attractions. Covelong is 60 km from Chennai. You can hire a taxi from Chennai which will take at least one hour to reach the beach. |

Covelong Beach is a small beach located between Chennai and Mahabalipuram. Covelong port was originally built by Saadat Ali Nawab of Carnatic which was later taken by the British.
