Miramar Beach

One of the lovely beaches of Goa Miramar Beach is located on the way to Dona Paula Popularly known as Gasper Dias it is one km ahead of the confluence of the Arabian Sea and Mandovi River. It is ideally placed just three kilometers from the Panjim, capital of Goa.

You can take walks on the beach with its fine silvery sand bed. Admire the stunning views of the Aquada fort just across the beach. No wonder Miramar means viewing the sea. One can soak into the beauty of the blue serene sea waters.

The best time to visit is from November to March when the ideal weather conditions make the water sports a joyful experience. This beach does not attract maddening crowds as the other beaches. But one must not miss the palm -shaded beach for a calming effect. There are several hotels and resorts on the Miramar Beach for all travelers. You can find the facilities like shopping, sight-seeing and cultural activities of local fishing community in the close vicinity of the beach.
